History
Formed in 1911 from El Paso County
An old deed may name a county that no longer exists, or a boundary that has since moved.
Culberson County was created from El Paso County but was not fully organized at first, so it was attached to El Paso County for judicial, surveying, and recording purposes. On January 5, 1912, Culberson County was fully organized and detached from El Paso County.
