History
Formed in 1883 from Spokane County
An old deed may name a county that no longer exists, or a boundary that has since moved.
Lincoln County was created by Washington Territory from Spokane County on November 24, 1883. Four days later, Lincoln lost territory to the creation of Douglas County. When Washington became a state in 1889, Lincoln County continued as a county of the new state.
