History

Formed in 1852 from Utah County

An old deed may name a county that no longer exists, or a boundary that has since moved.

Juab County was created by Utah Territory in 1852 from Utah County and non-county area, originally including parts of present Utah and Nevada. Over the following years, Juab County lost territory to the creation of several counties including Carson, Humboldt, and St. Mary's, and was eliminated from present Nevada by 1862.
