History

Formed in 1915 from Wasatch County

An old deed may name a county that no longer exists, or a boundary that has since moved.

Duchesne County was created from Wasatch County, with a referendum held on July 13, 1914, and the governor's proclamation taking effect on January 4, 1915. In 1917, Duchesne County gained territory from Uintah County.
