History

Formed in 1909 from Lincoln County

An old deed may name a county that no longer exists, or a boundary that has since moved.

Clark County was created from Lincoln County on July 1, 1909, when an act passed on February 5, 1909 took effect. In 1985, the boundary between Clark County and Nye County was adjusted to follow public land survey lines.

Boundary changes from the Newberry Library, Atlas of Historical County Boundaries.
