History
Formed in 1893 from Benton County and Tillamook County
An old deed may name a county that no longer exists, or a boundary that has since moved.
Lincoln County was created from Benton and Tillamook counties and named after Abraham Lincoln. Its boundaries changed several times: it gained land from Lane County in 1923 and 1927, then lost small areas to Lane and Benton counties in 1931 and 1949.
