History
Formed in 1921 from Fremont County and Lincoln County
An old deed may name a county that no longer exists, or a boundary that has since moved.
Sublette County was created from Fremont and Lincoln Counties, but remained unorganized and attached to those counties for judicial, revenue, and election purposes. The county was fully organized and detached from Fremont and Lincoln on January 2, 1923.
